I used photoshop when I made these two desktops. It's a pretty complicated thing to explain in one comment, but assuming you know the basics of photoshop one of the things you can always do to make things easier in general is:
A) use a tablet
B) Use lots of layers
C) use a variety of brushes

yeah, the reason they die in the first episode was mostly because I wanted to get the audience hooked in with a dramatic opening. I hope you understand >_<

Thanks! Yeah the proportions of the characters aren't that great in Asaroki. I wasn't going for perfect human anatomy on purpose, but it's a bit off even for my taste. Thanks for the feedback and good luck with your flashes!

Pretty sweet picture. I like the wings - but I liked the shades of red WITH the wings the most.
P.S. - on your website, in the "about" section, "college" has 3 " L's " in it.
